NNS began its journey in the year 1950 when with the launch of the news agency, National News Service, it pioneered the concept of providing commodity news and daily trading prices to print media. Today, NNS has almost all the leading National daily newspapers and renowned TV news channels on its subscribers' list. 

Besides, NNS also owns two daily newspapers, 'Vyapar Kesari' and 'Meri Delhi' and a business monthly magazine, Business Star. In addition to the news agency and publications, NNS diversified its activities into organising Exhibitions and Conferences. National News Service (NNS) 
In order to know about NNS we will have to go back to 1950 when late Shri Neki Ram Gupta made a foray into commercial reporting in the then national newspapers. With his reports getting wide appreciation and his subsequent success in this field, he started a new era in the field of economic journalism which soon culminated in the form of National News Service under the credit line NNS. Helped in his endeavour by his eldest son Shri Kesar Singh Gupta, Shri Neki Ram not only started a news agency of a unique kind but also gave stability to it. Today, almost all major National daily newspapers and renowned TV news channels of the country subscribe NNS for getting commodity news and daily trading prices of over 1500 commodities. NNS takes pride in being the oldest Economic News Agency which pioneered the concept of providing commodity news and daily trading prices.
Vyapar Kesari (Hindi Daily) 
Keeping in view the increasing demand for business information this Hindi daily newspaper dedicated to agro-based industry and trade was launched in the year 1983. Since then, this daily has become very popular among the traders and businessmen throughout the country for its accurate and incisive regular commodity markets updates, market reports and commodity rates. The colour editions of this daily come out on every Monday & Thursday. The demand for Vyapar Kesari is on the rise.


Business Star (Export-Import Monthly) 
With the Government of India liberalising trade policies to enhance exports & imports, need was felt to start a magazine dedicated to export & import. With a modest start in the year 1989, the magazine has expanded its readership base both in India and abroad. This monthly magazine true to its name gives comprehensive information on exports & imports, processed foods, agri-commodities, national & international trade fairs / exhibitions, overseas buyers' enquiries, company profiles, Govt Notifications, Joint Ventures / Tech Transfers etc. The monthly has wide readership throughout India.


Meri Delhi (Hindi Daily) 
Meri Delhi was launched as a weekly in the year 1989 under the able patronage of Shri Kesar Singh Gupta & the dynamic editorship of Shri Rajesh Gupta. Meri Delhi, today is the most sought after weekly of West-Delhi and is very popular among the residents of Punjabi Bagh, Moti Nagar, Karampura, Rani Bagh, Tri Nagar, Paschim Vihar, Jaidev Park, Bhagwan Dass Nagar, Multan Nagar, Pitampura, Rohini and many other prominent areas of Delhi. Looking at the growing demand and to provide Delhites the news from their own state, Meri Delhi daily edition was launched in August, 2003 by Sh. Sudhanshu ji Maharaj at a glittering function. This edition is fast scaling the popularity chart.


Other Publications 
NNS also publishes trade directories, souvenirs etc. These are dedicated to agro products, packaging, flour mills, agro engineering products, menthol products, oil mills etc. Besides, there are various directories dedicated to local residents for ready information such as Punjabi Bagh Residents Directory, Pitampura Residents' Directory, Punjabi Bagh Club Directory, Consumer Guide etc. Paschim Vihar Residents' Directory is the next directory in the pipe line. These publications have widely been acclaimed and have proved to be very useful to one and all.

A brief introduction of NNS promoters Founder : Late Shri Neki Ram Gupta Late Shri Neki Ram Gupta was born in the year 1909 in village Patti Kalyana (Haryana). After completing his school and college education, Shri Gupta joined the Indian Railways. He took active part in the freedom struggle and it is there, he felt the need of associating with economic journalism. He started with commercial journalism and later the National News Service was given shape. National News Service (NNS) was founded in the year 1950 by late Shri Neki Ram Gupta.





Chairman : Shri Kesar Singh Gupta The wise son of an able father, Shri Kesar Singh Gupta's endeavour to pursue excellence continues with the fluttering flag of NNS. Born in the year 1936 in village Patti Kalayana (Haryana) his consistent struggle for achieving success has paid rich dividends. A great disciplinarian at work but soft spoken, social and ever smiling Shri Gupta has been able to achieve a prestigious position in the field of commercial journalism. A man having never-ending zeal for innovation and creativity, his strong determination and continuous quest for success and social service has won him laurels & admiration from all quarters.

Managing Director : 
Shri Rajesh Gupta Shri Rajesh Gupta, the only son of Shri Kesar Singh Gupta is a man of great integrity, sincerity and strong determination. Peaceful and religious, Shri Rajesh Gupta took over as the Managing Director of NNS Group soon after NNS and its publications were merged on 1st April 2000 to form a new company, NNS Online Pvt. Ltd. He is also the editor of 'Meri Delhi' a house hold name in Punjabi Bagh. Shri Gupta's leadership and vision have made "Kesari Prints" a quality offset printing house known for excellent quality printing of labels, books, posters, souvenirs, catalogues, biographies, magazines, annual reports, newspapers, directories etc. The precision, perfection and accuracy with which the work is done at Kesari Prints has helped it to carve a valuable niche for itself in the printing world. The ability of Shri Gupta speaks of the success he has gained in the popularity of Meri Delhi.
